It Came from the Basement Episode 34: Thrill me.

This week we do a feature length discussion about Night of the Creeps and once again discuss our man crushes on Mr. Tom Atkins. Was his best performance in Night of the Creeps? Halloween 3? The Fog? Creepshow? You decide. Also in this crazy action packed, karate kid referenced episode we discuss some voicemails from Spoonbender, Tyler & Vaughn. Sadly, there was not any estrogen in this week’s feedback, so ladies, step up to the plate, SikeChick, Julie, where are y’all?
We’re taking a week or two off as Jeff travels the globe for a few weeks, the good news, we will return with the first commentary hosted by Jeff & DeadMike in the same room at the same time! Tune in…

Ha! I have listened to episode 34 about 3 times now and I am loving it! I never thought much about Tom Atkins, but the more I hear you guys talk about him, I find myself cracking up remembering all the one liners “Bullwinkle Moose!”.
Night of the Creeps is one of my fave movies that flies under the radar (I always forget to mention it in my top 10, along with Return of the Living Dead, Heat, Casino, Goodfellas, etc.), but is one that I don’t hesitate to watch when on tv.
You guys rock! Keep up the great work!
And no, I kind think that Tom Atkins is just playing a certain kind of character, and may not be as gruff as he appears on screen.
Or maybe not.
