    I’ve finally found somebody else who liked Nightmare 2! Yeah, number 3 was better, but every time I hear somebody go off about how 4 and *5* were better than 2, my jaw hits the floor. If they say 6 was better, my fist hits their jaw.

    I think the problem is that most people who saw Nightmare 2 saw the later movies first. Freddy in Nightmare 2 wasn’t so much a dream demon as he was a murderous ghost, so that probably ticked some folks off.

    That, and the blatant homoeroticism.
